TOSC Supports NOCSHC

As a non-profit 501C(6) organization established in 2023, TOSC is deeply committed to enhancing the safety and well-being of tow truck operators in Arizona. Our comprehensive approach to safety, which includes providing training, spreading awareness of the Slow Down Move Over message, sharing best practices within the industry, and advocating for legislative improvements, mirrors the goals of NOCSHC in fostering safety and efficiency on America's roadways.

We admire the dedication of NOCSHC to advocate for towing and recovery professionals, hazardous material remediators, and incident response operators who tirelessly ensure the safety and functionality of our nation's roads. Your coalition's efforts to promote cooperation between towing professionals and essential public service entities align with our vision of fostering a collaborative culture within the transportation industry.

Regarding the proposed rule on "Unfair or Deceptive Fees" by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), we stand in solidarity with NOCSHC in advocating for the opposition of this regulation. We believe that towing professionals should have the ability to appropriately charge for their services, as each towing situation is unique and requires tailored solutions. Implementing a one-size-fits-all pricing model overlooks the complexities of towing operations and may hinder tow truck operators from accurately reflecting the costs associated with their services. By allowing towing professionals the flexibility to set fair and transparent pricing based on the specific circumstances of each towing job, we can ensure that they are adequately compensated for their expertise and resources while maintaining the safety and functionality of our roadways.
